We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and confirm reservations

SMS Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile phone number and explicitly consent via our opt-in checkbox on the reservation inquiry form or through a text-based confirmation, you agree to receive text messages from Marlow's on the Kenai. Our SMS program includes:

  • Transactional messages: booking confirmations, deposit reminders, arrival day logistics, cabin assignments, weather or trip updates
  • Optional marketing messages: last-minute availability, seasonal openings, and limited special offers (only if you have opted in to marketing messages specifically)

Message frequency: You may receive approximately 4–8 transactional messages per trip during active booking and travel periods, and 1–2 marketing messages per month if you have opted in to marketing communications.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier charges apply to all SMS messages sent and received.

Opt-out: You can opt out of our SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send you. After replying STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS from us. You can also reply HELP for support, or contact us directly at +1 (907) 341-4966.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent data will not be sold, rented, or disclosed to any third party for their own marketing use at any time.

How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use trusted service providers for hosting, reservation management (GoHighLevel), payment processing, email delivery, SMS delivery (Twilio via GoHighLevel), and website analytics (Google Analytics 4). These providers have access only to information necessary to perform their services and are contractually bound to protect it.
  • Guide and charter partners: When we coordinate a guided fishing trip, ocean charter, or fly-out on your behalf, we share only the minimum information required to fulfill your booking (typically your name, party size, and contact number) with the specific guide or charter operator assigned to your trip.
  • Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers: If Marlow's is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Reservation and guest records are typically retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with tax and hospitality record-keeping standards. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us, subject to our legal retention obligations.
